Working In a Restaurant

Working at Turtle Jack's this summer was a great experience. I was welcomed by a warm and friendly team that really felt like a family. I was trained on pantry to cook their signature bowls, sauces, salads and desserts. Additionally, I was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of both my work area and the restaurant's backend. I was genuinely amazed by the amount of in-house food preparation that took place during the morning shifts. As my time at the restaurant progressed, I found myself becoming more adept at managing larger groups of diners and handling the hectic rushes, especially on weekends. It was a pleasure to work for such a caring and supportive establishment.
