Serving My Community

TD Tree Days are events held across North America with the goal of protecting forests by planting trees and shrubs. They are hosted by TD bank in collaboration with local municipalities, conservation authorities and Indigenous communities. My friend Caitlyn and I wanted to support this cause so we volunteered at a local Tree Day event in Brantford. The event organizers were very kind and gave clear instructions on how to properly plant the different species of trees. It was a blast to spend the day with fellow volunteers and it felt good to help my community.
